Birthday flowers!

I'm enjoying my birthdays more and more as I grow older. Wake up to a coffee and scone at my favorite bakery (Breadsong), lunch out with friends (Thai), and dinner with AJ on Beacon Hill at the Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro. And flowers! Since winter has nestled in up here in New England the fresh flowers reminded me of how colorless the winter is. As it is only December this is fine, but when March hits and color isn't due until the middle of May, well we just won't continue those thoughts...
